Test Fiber to the Home
The tri-wavelength model, which can test at 1490 nm, can be used to troubleshoot and test your Fiber to the Home (FTTH) applications.

Optimize Quick-Termination Connectors
Attach the connector to a launch cable via a mating sleeve, then press the Scan button on the OTDR. Slowly insert the fiber into the connector. The scan of the field fiber will rise up the screen as the optical connection improves. The OTDR’s 2-point loss feature shows the throughput of the connector.
